Industry Tour 2025/2026 – Can Tho

Decarbonization Pathways towards Net Zero for Factories & Industrial zones

29 September 2025

The Journey Towards Net Zero Begins in Can Tho

On September 25, 2025, at Van Phat Riverside Hotel – Can Tho City, the Industry Tour 2025/2026 officially took place, bringing together a large number of factory leaders, industrial park managers, as well as environmental and energy experts.

Co-organized by MinMax Green, Thanh An Environment Company, and Green Transition, the event provided businesses with the opportunity to gain insights into Vietnam’s manufacturing landscape and supply chains, while exploring practical solutions and green technologies to support carbon reduction roadmaps and the journey towards Net Zero.

Key Highlights from the Event

Industry Tour 2025/2026 delivered practical insights and actionable solutions, including:

  • Development of industrial parks & eco-industrial parks in Vietnam.

  • Practical steps for enterprises: building tailored carbon reduction roadmaps.

  • Guidance on greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and carbon reduction planning.

  • Proven solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energy applications.

  • Product life cycle assessment (LCA) & eco-labeling to expand export markets.

.

Networking and Exploring Solutions

The event created valuable opportunities for guests to visit and engage directly at the exhibition booths showcasing solutions, technologies, and products/services from participating enterprises. Businesses were able to present their offerings in detail, demonstrate practical applications in green transition and carbon reduction, and connect with peers to share experiences and explore potential collaborations. In addition, guests had the chance to discuss, ask questions, and learn more about practical solutions that can be applied directly within factories and industrial parks.

Introducing Carbon Tracker – Transparency in Data, Driving Action

A key highlight of the event was the introduction of Carbon Tracker, a real-time tool for measuring and monitoring carbon emissions, enabling businesses to:

  • Assess emission levels at each factory and industrial park.

  • Compare results across different units to identify opportunities for energy optimization.

  • Develop carbon reduction plans based on transparent, science-based data.

The tool was showcased live at the event, allowing business leaders to observe visualized data, engage in discussions, and propose immediate improvement actions.

Discussion and Q&A with Speakers

After the presentation on the Carbon Tracker and green transition solutions, the event opened a lively Q&A session, where factory leaders and industrial park managers:

  • Asked direct questions about how to implement the Carbon Tracker in practice.

  • Discussed emission reduction strategies tailored to different types of factories and industrial parks.
  • Received expert insights on opportunities for renewable energy adoption, LCA, eco-labels, and energy efficiency solutions.

  • Shared practical experiences from enterprises that have already implemented these solutions, helping others shorten the application timeline and minimize risks.

Presentation of certificates recognizing the event’s commitment to sustainability

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of sustainability certificates to sponsors, factory management boards, and a participating enterprise from the organizing committee that actively engaged in emission reduction initiatives and adopted green transition solutions. This served as tangible proof of their commitment to environmental action, while also encouraging stakeholders to continue implementing energy-saving measures, embracing renewable energy, and moving towards Net Zero.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all businesses, sponsors, factory management boards, and distinguished guests who participated in and contributed to the success of the Industry Tour 2025/2026. We hope to continue walking alongside you on the journey to emissions reduction, moving toward a more sustainable and greener manufacturing sector in Vietnam. As part of our Net Zero commitment, the program was organized under the ISO 20121 Sustainable Event Management Standard, with certified carbon offset initiatives, energy-saving measures, waste reduction practices, and eco-friendly catering services.

The Industry Tour 2025/2026 will continue to expand, creating a platform for the business community to jointly design the Net Zero roadmap for Vietnam’s manufacturing industry.
